Scotia Survey and Safety is on the ball with what's important

Scotia Survey and Safety is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Charlie Miller Football Academy's 2012 team home kit. This partnership marks a significant step in Scotia's ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots initiatives that make a positive impact in local communities.

What is the Charlie Miller Football Academy?

Founded by Charlie Miller, a retired Scottish footballer with an impressive career playing for a host of Scottish teams (such as Rangers, Dundee United, and Clyde FC), the Charlie Miller Football Academy aims to provide young people with the opportunity to develop their football skills. The academy focuses on bringing together youths aged 5-15, offering coaching and mentoring with the goal of helping them develop both on and off the field.

Scotia's Impact - Making a Difference

Investments and sponsorships from companies like Scotia Survey and Safety are the lifeblood of community organisations like Charlie Miller Football Academy. Funds are used to organise everything from equipment to fees and insurance - all the things that the academy needs to grow and push the opportunity out to as many children as possible.

Scotia Survey and Safety's sponsorship of the 2012 team home strip helps to support the academy in the delivery of essentials - helping the team get on the pitch and be a part of something that is important to them.

"As a small team of dedicated specialists, we take pride in contributing to initiatives that would be beyond our reach as individuals. Together, as Scotia, we can achieve so much more - and that’s exactly what we do" said Filippos Ntagadakis, Reality Capture Specialist from Scotia Survey and Safety. "Having the honour of being able to sponsor the Charlie Miller Football Academy 2012 team was a great opportunity for us to help foster the talents of young footballers and support their journey."

A Shared Vision for Community Impact

Charlie Miller started the football academy to address a gap he identified in support for young footballers, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. His vision is to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn valuable life skills, and build their confidence.

The partnership with Scotia Survey and Safety underscores the shared goal of creating opportunities for the next generation - Scotia is firmly invested in the development and training of the next (and current!) local survey sector professionals.

"At Scotia, we believe that investing in community-focused initiatives is not just our responsibility - it's a core part of who we are," added Filippos. "The Charlie Miller Football Academy does outstanding work in supporting youth development, and we are priviledged to play a role in helping these young players achieve their dreams."
